Yesterday was Women's Entrepreneurship Day, but we can still celebrate today. At FemCity, every day is Women's Entrepreneurship Day as we stay focused on our mission of creating business communities for our members around the world. How can we truly celebrate? How do we make a difference for others? What’s the big deal in honoring other women?
Here are 3 ways you can start and continue to celebrate Women's Entrepreneurship Day as we lead up to Small Business Saturday.
Share: Dedicate 3-5 min each day to share the female-owned business you love, and tag them in your post. Share why you love their business, how it has helped you and why others should take a look and consider this business. It honestly takes only a few moments, but your words carry and will continue to elevate and promote their brand and grow their revenue.
Review: Copy and paste that share and add it to their Facebook page, Yelp, LinkedIn, Amazon reviews. Again, it takes no time at all but it’s one of the most powerful things we can do for others.
Ambassador: as you are out and about in the world IRL, share their goodness the old-fashioned way: verbally. Whether at a FemCity local gathering and during our gratitude circle or out walking your dog, when you see the opportunity to praise another, move forward and share their greatness.
How does this help you? Kindness is contagious, and as you share love and support for another, your soul will smile and that will live on as others witness it all. You will feel a beautiful sensation of being a part of another’s success, and your spirit will now inspire and motivate others to do the same. You can create a movement of goodness by just one act of sharing good. You always receive what you give through other avenues and opportunities in life and business. What you give out to the world in love and support comes back to you in bigger ways. Share without asking for return, and kindness and abundance will always find its way back to you.
