3 Things to do When You Feel Overwhelmed
It's that time of the season that within a blink it's Halloween, and two blinks after it's NYE. It's also that time of the year where we seem to feel overwhelmed with tasks, goals and trying to manage it all. When we feel overwhelmed, we feel that we can't catch up, our clarity is cloudy and we can't seem to get our groove back on in the strongest way. I totally hear ya! Today I am sharing 3 things I do when I feel overwhelmed.

1. What's really important: You might say, EVERYTHING IS IMPORTANT!!! But stop and take note of what are the items that can't be delegated, rescheduled, postponed or deleted. Often, when I ask myself this question, I am able to toss aside many items and it leaves me with just one or two. What are those 1-2 items that are really important? What is truly the highest priority? What needs your attention now in order for other items to get better?

2. What no longer serves your higher purpose: When we are filled with anxiety and look to find the real value, importance and benefit of each item causing us that overwhelming feeling, it's the place to also hit reset. Ask yourself, what commitments no longer serve your higher purpose? What is no longer filling your cup? What activities no longer align with your path? Taking on this exercise will also relieve you from unnecessary stress and that overwhelming feeling. This is a great time to also add in more no's and turn down opportunities that don't fit.

3. Who is in your "go-to" circle: We need to ask for help and that's normal and beneficial to seek assistance from friends. This week alone, I have one bestie watching my dog, another bestie watching my daughter and this weekend I am taking in a bestie's daughter. Having a support system is a mandatory process and necessity for those juggling pieces of life. Who are those in your circle you can count on? Who are those around you that offer to help? Reach out and ask friends to help you manage it all. You will do the same for them, and your support system will flourish. No one ever succeeded on their own. My friends are my rock and I am grateful that they step in when I need them most.

Another final tip: Focus on only one item and when that's in motion, add the next one. Baby steps in one direction still move you closer to your goals.

I recommend the following resources in our members only classroom: "PRODUCTIVITY WITH TIME BLOCKING", "HOW TO ACHIEVE YOUR GOALS" and in worksheets "HOW TO CLEAR THE CLUTTER FOR BETTER FOCUS" and "QUESTIONS TO ASK YOURSELF FOR CLARITY"

Wishing you a week filled with abundance and prosperity,
