YOUR LEADERSHIP BOARD

 

Our Local FemCity Board helps the President create a beautiful and flourishing community. Board Members are required to be a Business Member, attend local calls/communicate with local FemCity President and attend at least 8 events a year. They have a Board License/Membership as well that gives them access to the FemCity Board Portal.


Events: Venue selection, menu options and facilitating the FemCity event details
Social media : post welcomes for new members, activities, create event details.
PR : sending out press releases to local publications, newspapers, bloggers etc.
Photography : take photos of our events
Membership : introduce members and suggest partnerships and collaborations between members
DEIB : be an instrumental part of creating a diverse, and inclusive group of women
Community outreach : form partnerships with venues, local organizations and promote FemCity community
VP : Assist the President as a VP or Co-President
Philanthropy : form partnerships with local nonprofits that help women

It is recommended to have a 1:1 meeting with your new board members to review their role and where you would most like assistance, as well as review that attending and participating is required. Making it clear what is expected is strongly recommended. 
We recommend meeting lightly as a group once a month to review the previous month's events or activities, hear new ideas, and assign duties for the upcoming month. You can do this by video meeting or by creating a group chat with your Leadership Board.
